Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Secrets ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Service Description

Secrets is a secure, end-to-end encrypted message sharing service that:

  • Allows users to share encrypted messages
  • Automatically destroys messages after viewing
  • Expires unviewed messages after 48 hours
  • Requires no user accounts or registration

Use Restrictions

You agree not to use the Service:

  • For any unlawful purpose
  • To transmit malware or harmful code
  • To interfere with the Service's operation
  • To attempt to decrypt other users' messages
  • To circumvent message expiration
  • In violation of any applicable laws or regulations

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Availability or uptime
  • Message delivery
  • Data security beyond our stated encryption methods

Limitation of Liability

TAS Technologies Group shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or messages
  • Service interruptions
  • Unauthorized access to messages
  • Issues arising from third-party services

Message Privacy and Security

While we implement strong security measures:

  • We cannot access message contents
  • We cannot recover deleted messages
  • We cannot extend message expiration times
  • We cannot verify message senders or recipients

Third-Party Services

The Service uses AWS RDS Postgres for data storage. By using our Service, you agree to be bound by their terms of service where applicable.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service
  • Change these Terms at any time
  • Implement new features or restrictions
  • Modify message retention periods

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by TAS Technologies Group and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability
